Prompt for Turning Email Content Requests into Documents and Reply Drafts

The author reads a content request from a specific sender and asks for it to be processed within the context of an existing Claude project, with the work to be placed in a Google Document.

How it works

  1. The author specifies the target sender, the Claude project to use, and the rules for document titles and sharing.
  2. The author instructs Grok Bot to read the latest request email, extract the work requirements, create the content, and prepare a reply draft that includes a Google Docs link.

Results

This is a shared prompt for preparing a document and reply draft in response to a request email. It describes the intended goal of the public prompt and is not a report of execution or results.

Notes

This shared prompt was introduced in awesome-grok-bot as an idea by @fatjoedavies. The actual availability and results of connected services must be checked separately.

Example prompt · Grok Bot

Goal: Turn a content request received by email into a document and a reply draft.

Input & Environment: [Request email sender], [Claude project], [Content criteria], [Google Docs storage location & permissions].

Reference original: https://github.com/Anil-matcha/awesome-grok-bot#content-request-fulfillment

Create a Grok Bot to process content requests. Read the latest email from the specified sender, summarize the requirements for length, audience, deadline, and materials, and ask about any missing conditions. Check if the specified Claude project can actually be connected; if not, notify before using an alternative approach. After review of the draft, save it as a document and prepare a reply draft including the link. Only send externally after approval.

Do not speculate about account connection methods or results not in the original; first, provide the required settings and execution steps. Start from a working copy that preserves existing materials, and mark any items that cannot be accessed as needing confirmation.

Verification: Check that outdated conditions from previous reply threads are not used, and that the document's sharing permissions match the specification. Also, ensure that a separate document is not created for each request and that the reply link opens the correct document.

With the results, organize the inputs used, execution logs, and confirmed outcomes. Clearly separate incomplete or unexecuted parts from completed work.
