How it works

  1. While preparing maps of local boundaries, Simon Willison asked GPT-5.6-Sol about tools and says the model began building an app.
  2. After revisions using Claude Code for web and Fable 5.1, he completed a tool that displays GeoJSON maps and exports PNG files.
  3. He displayed the boundaries of the Granada Community Services District and Midcoast Community Council gathered by ChatGPT Work together.

Results

The author published a tool and an example link for comparing the two areas' boundaries on one map.
