An Agent That Has Spent Ten Days Expanding a Skeleton Skateboarder Downhill Game

Based on a handmade skeleton skater figurine, the creator built a browser downhill game and kept refining it with Claude for ten days.

How it works

  1. Using a skeleton skateboarder they had made and 3D-printed, the creator had Claude generate game artwork for a day in a browser logged into their Magnific and Tripo accounts.
  2. The next day, they established the game's atmosphere and tested the first course, building it with Claude Code on the BabylonJS engine.
  3. After that, they continued refining it by providing a list of fixes and additions after each play session.

Results

They started on October 14 and released the third update ten days later. They said they rewrote the story and menus and added new events, rival characters, and course-specific obstacles.

Notes

It is an alpha version and is available to play for free at cruisingbones.com. No metrics such as player count or response were provided.

Example prompt · Claude Code

Build a prototype 3D downhill racing game for the browser using a character I specify.

Inputs: character reference image [file], game engine [for example, BabylonJS], tools for creating artwork and 3D models [services to use and whether my accounts are connected], and first-course description [length, atmosphere, obstacles]. First, verify whether the image-generation tools are accessible and whether I have the rights to use the generated artwork and models in the game.

Process: 1) Create several concept images of the character and board from the reference image for me to choose from. 2) Prepare a 3D model or sprite from the selected concept. 3) Build one first course with three elements: a straight section, a curve, and obstacles. 4) After I play and provide a list of changes, implement them one at a time and record what changed. 5) Do not make account payments or publish externally without my approval.

Deliverables: browser-ready game files and a change log. First, verify that the character can descend one full course and restart after falling, then add more courses.
