An Agent That Creates Meetup Presentation Materials in Google Slides

The creator made a deck for next week's meetup with Grok Bot and Google Slides, finishing in three hours what would have taken two days alone.

How it works

  1. With no slides ready for a Grok Bot meetup the following Monday, the creator first explained the situation to Grok Bot and asked it to design the deck collaboratively instead of building it immediately from scratch.
  2. They connected Google Drive so Grok Bot could create slides directly in Drive. Because they disliked the first design, they requested a presentation style inspired by X, Tesla, and SpaceX, settling on white text over a black background.
  3. They continued giving feedback such as adding a profile photo and Naver, Toss, and Coupang logos, and also gave it only three screenshots to create slides explaining the login process.

Results

The creator said the deck, which would have taken at least two days to make alone, was completed in three hours. At the end, they personally corrected only a few awkward phrases in Google Slides.

Notes

The post does not provide the total number of slides or audience response to the actual presentation.

Example prompt · Grok Bot

Collaborate with me to design and create presentation materials in Google Slides.

Inputs: presentation context [event, date, speaking time, audience], topic and intended message [about three core messages], materials to include [screenshots, logos, profile photo], and desired atmosphere [reference presentation style]. First, check whether Google Drive is connected and ask me whether the logos may be used.

Process: 1) Do not build immediately; first propose the presentation flow and slide list and align them with me. 2) Create one or two design concepts in Drive for me to choose from. 3) Build the full deck with the selected design, placing my screenshots according to the content and preserving their proportions. 4) Whenever I provide feedback, report the slide numbers changed and what changed. 5) Do not overwrite original materials; create a new file.

Deliverables: a Google Slides link and a one-line description for each slide. First, create only the cover and two content slides for design approval, then proceed with the rest.
