An Agent That Creates a Cinematic Title Sequence in Code

Claude Code created a title sequence with laser effects, bloom, credits, and music entirely in code, without editing software.

How it works

  1. The author made a cinematic title sequence using only Claude Code, reportedly without Premiere, CapCut, or After Effects.
  2. The laser text reveal, bloom, scrolling credits, and music were all implemented in code.
  3. The author said that revisions involved changing a line of code and rendering again.

Results

The finished title sequence was shared publicly. The author did not disclose production time or video length.

Notes

The post does not identify the rendering library or include the request given to Claude Code.

Example prompt · Claude Code

Create a cinematic title sequence in code without using video editing software.

Inputs: the title and credit text [title, list of names], duration and aspect ratio [e.g., 20 seconds, 16:9], desired effects [e.g., laser text reveal, bloom, scrolling credits], and music [create it or use a file I already have]. First check which rendering methods are available on my computer, such as recording a browser animation as video or using a code-based video tool. Choose one and explain why.

Process: 1) Break the scenes into a second-by-second table and obtain my confirmation. 2) Implement each scene's effects in code. 3) Create or add the music and align it with scene transitions. 4) Render a video file. Make the text, colors, and timing editable through configuration values at the top.

Deliverables: the video file, source code, and a command to render it again. First render a 5-second, low-resolution sample and check the effects and music timing before producing the full sequence.
