Example prompt · Claude Code

Create a short character animation in code without using a video editor.

Inputs: a one-line plot [e.g., two animals merge into a different animal], duration and frame settings [e.g., 15 seconds, 30 frames per second], aspect ratio [e.g., 9:16], and art style [e.g., simple shapes, an emoji-like look]. First check how to draw frames and assemble them into a video on my computer, such as canvas rendering followed by a video conversion tool, and tell me if anything needs installing.

Process: 1) Divide the scenes into a timeline and obtain my confirmation. 2) Draw the characters in code and animate them. 3) Save the frames in sequence. 4) Assemble them into a video file. Make colors, speed, and text editable through configuration values at the top.

Deliverables: the video file, source code, and a command to recreate it. First render only the initial 3 seconds and verify smooth motion and that the frame count matches the plan before rendering the full video.
